Who We Are

Ìmọ́lẹ̀ of Afrika Centre (ìAfrika) is a Holistic Research and Praxis Institute dedicated to advancing restorative healing and collective wellbeing of Africans by addressing intergenerational and collective trauma to facilitate relational, cultural and structural change. Rooted in Afro-Feminism, Ubuntu philosophy, and the Healing Justice Framework, we focus on care practice and trauma healing to nurture inner transformation for outward impact.
Our community-centred integrative approach merges neo-ancient strategies and methods with neuroscientific insights, conflict transformation methodologies, healing justice frameworks, and critical consciousness to drive our Soul Advocacy, Healing Activism, Wellbeing Peace, Healing Soulidarity, and Community of Practice Outreach Programmes.
Through collaborative partnerships, we empower young people, marginalised communities, survivors of gender-based violence, academic institutions, political and corporate sectors, and feminist movements by providing holistic healing knowledge, courses, and experiential interventions.
