Announcing the First Post-HSVP Virtual Event: Why is Intergenerational and Collective Healing Crucial in This Age of Polycrisis?

We are excited to announce the first Post-HSVP Virtual Event, designed to carry forward the important conversations started during our #HealingSoulidarity campaign earlier this year. This virtual event will take place on October 30th, 2024, at 11 AM WAT and will explore the critical topic: “Why is Intergenerational and Collective Healing Crucial in This Age of Polycrisis?”

Why This Event Matters

In a world facing interconnected global challenges, or polycrisis, it is vital to understand the roots of trauma and how embracing intergenerational and collective healing can build resilience. Our expert speakers will discuss how past traumas shape the present, the role of collective healing, and practical steps to initiate healing within communities for transformative change.

Meet Our Speakers

This insightful session will be hosted by Restorative Healing Researcher and Practitioner, Dr. Toyin Ajao, who will guide us through these important discussions. We are also pleased to welcome:

Ayomide is currently exploring the intersections between environment, intergenerational equity, and mental well-being, through her work at The Eco-anxiety Africa Project.

With a healing-centred and trauma-informed approach, Adé co-creates an environment where clients can explore their emotions, thoughts, beliefs and experiences without judgment. He understands the impact of trauma and focuses on promoting healing, growth and resilience.
